Brandi Reynolds

Brandi B. Reynolds is Chief Growth Officer and Senior Managing Director of AML & Compliance at Bates Group with nearly 20 years of experience in the financial services industry supporting companies in the areas of Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Fintech and Banking Compliance. Ms. Reynolds was President and Chief Executive Officer of CorCom, LLC (now part of Bates Group), a consulting firm specializing in federal compliance and risk management offering services in BSA/AML/OFAC Program Development, Risk Management, Training, and Independent Reviews, and specializing in areas such as AML, Financial Crimes Prevention, and Consumer Lending. Prior to CorCom, she was an in-house Deputy Chief Compliance Officer for 11 years. Ms. Reynolds recently partnered with the Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists (ACAMS) to re-develop their advanced certification course, CAMS-Audit and is a frequent speaker at the International Money Transmitter Conferences (IMTC) and events.

Alexandra Scheibe

Alexandra C. Scheibe is a blockchain and derivatives lawyer  who represents blockchain companies, startups, fintech companies, financial institutions, cryptocurrency funds and other market participants. Alexandra advises blockchain companies on all aspects of their business. She structures transactions and provides regulatory advice.  She also counsels other digital asset companies on financial services arrangements, technology arrangements, and compliance regimes.  Alexandra began her career as a derivatives and structured products attorney, representing financial institutions and other market participants on a broad spectrum of derivatives and securitization transactions. She continues representing dealers and end users on all aspects of derivatives and structured products. Alexandra is a frequent speaker and writer on topics in blockchain and Fintech, particularly on securities and commodities law issues in the blockchain space and current market developments. Alexandra is also a professor at Cornell Tech, teaching Blockchain Law and Policy and DeFi and Stablecoins.

She was previously Head of Institutional for Arca Labs, working with companies to drive blockchain innovation through strategic partnerships and advisory services as well as COO of Propellr, a broker dealer in digital assets. Annelise spent 12 years at Moody's Investor Service running teams in structured finance. She is a thought leader, board advisor, university lecturer and author. Her bestselling book, From Hoodies to Suits: Innovating Digital Assets in Traditional Finance, hit shelves in 2024. Annelise holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BA in Economics from The College of William and Mary.

Heidi is the Head of Special Operations at Wave Digital Assets, an SEC-registered investment firm specializing in digital assets, where she supports large Web3 protocols, crypto bankruptcies, and government agencies with crypto exposure. She is a member of numerous State blockchain initiatives as well as the Digital Dollar Project. Previously, she served as President of GBBC Giving, empowering underserved communities with blockchain access, and co-founded PoA, a platform equipping artists with digital tools. Heidi played a key role in launching Blockchain@UCLA and the Los Angeles Blockchain Lab, initiatives that advanced blockchain education and policy, including programs supporting women worldwide, such as in Afghanistan. She has served on advisory boards including the VanEck Digital Assets Initiative at USC, Innovate@UCLA, and the Female Advisory Board for Lamborghini, and was an Honorary Co-chair of the U.S. Trade Missions Blockchain initiative for the U.S. Department of Commerce. A sought-after Web3 educator, she has provided insights to leading firms like Lionsgate Entertainment and Sony. Among her proudest achievements, she helped nearly 400 Afghan women and their families flee the Taliban using crypto. Prior to her blockchain work, Heidi specialized in business transformation, scaling distressed assets into national firms and leading sales teams for companies such as AIG. She holds an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management.

Olta Andoni

General Counsel at Enclave Markets

Olta Andoni is the General Counsel at Enclave Markets, the very first fully encrypted exchange in the USA, guiding the development of Enclave's internal compliance systems and policies, assisting in the company's growth efforts, and ensuring that it remains compliant so as to offer top-tier services to Enclave's clients. Prior to Enclave, Andoni served as the Deputy General Counsel at Ava Labs where she oversaw implementation of the legal strategy for the company, drove day-to-day legal affairs, and aligned the legal and business strategies of the company. Before joining Ava Labs, Ms. Andoni was the Chief Legal Officer of Nifty’s, an NFT focused social media platform. She also lectured for Chicago – Kent, College of Law since 2013. Leveraging many years of IP and Fintech expertise, Ms. Andoni has voiced her passion about DeFi, NFTs and protection of IP rights. She is part of many regulatory policy groups in the USA where she helps strategize the future of the regulation of digital assets in the country. She is a regular speaker and moderator for industry conferences on topics regarding regulatory considerations, decentralized exchanges, compliance matters, DeFi, NFTs and antitrust law issues facing the broader fintech space.
